Course Description

The Mixture Aggregate Technician Course is a 3-day course.

The handling and testing of aggregates is covered. In addition, persons completing this course will be able to do the sampling and testing for an aggregate producer participating in the Aggregate Gradation Control System (AGCS), provided the producer has an aggregate technician administering the program.

This course, or CET-021, Aggregate Technician, is a prerequisite for Hot-Mix Asphalt Level I (CET-029) and is also required for PCC Level II (CET-024) certification.

Students who possess a current Mixture Aggregate Technician certification and wish to get their 5-Day Aggregate Technician certificate need to register for CET-027, Mixture Aggregate Technician Upgrade Course.

According to new IDOT regulations, this course certificate will not require re-certification.
