Course Description

This course is designed to reintroduce procedures for mix design as well as proportioning, troubleshooting, and laydown, and the proper techniques for sampling and testing of asphalt.

This review course will help with the in-person exam and renew your Hot-Mix Asphalt Level I, Level II and Level III Certifications.

This certification is valid for five years.

Notes

The course material will be released to the student 4 weeks prior to the exam date listed. To review the material, the student will need to log in to their Canvas LMS Account. An email will be sent to the student with their Canvas login information.

Need to Retest?

A student will have one chance to retest on any failed IDOT exam at no charge. This retest must be completed by December 31st. To schedule a retest, please contact Kathy Willenborg @ (217) 234-5285.

Prerequisites

To enroll in this recertification course, you must hold a current Hot-Mix Asphalt Level III Certification. 

If you are not currently certified, you must enroll in CET-031.
