Course Description

Applied Industrial Electricity is a hands-on course designed to provide students with a foundational understanding of electrical principles used in industrial settings.  Participants will learn about electrical circuits, wiring methods, motor controls, transformers, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).  The course covers safety procedures, troubleshooting techniques, and the practical application of electrical systems in manufacturing and industrial environments.  Students will gain experience working with electrical components, interpreting schematics, and following the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.  This course is ideal for individuals seeking to enhance their technical skills for careers in maintenance, automation and industrial electrical work.
